Scott Sonbuchner
Scott Sonbuchner is a senior consumer affairs examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He examines state member banks for compliance with consumer protection regulations and evaluates their performance under the Community Reinvestment Act. Scott writes on complaint management, error resolution, fair lending, and other topics for Consumer Compliance Outlook. He regularly presents webinars on consumer compliance for the banking industry. Scott earned a Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School and served as an editor of the Minnesota Journal of International Law, in which he was also published. He has bachelor of arts degrees in philosophy and physics from Wheaton College in Illinois and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
