The phrase “consumer protection laws and regulations” suggests their scope is limited to consumers, but that is not always true because some also apply to commercial products and services. During this webinar, Beatriz Martinez from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Kevin O’Connor from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston will discuss some of these laws and regulations, including:
- Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA)/Regulation B and Fair Housing Act (FHA)
- Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)/Regulation C
- Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)/Regulation BB
- Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA)
- Other Applicable Laws
