Please join us for a discussion of the regulatory requirements related to adverse action notifications under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), as implemented by Regulation B, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Scott Sonbuchner and Kate Loftus from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, and Scott Grotewold from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will provide an overview of the regulatory requirements, discuss the different requirements under ECOA and the FCRA, and review recent adverse action issues raised during examinations and through consumer complaints.
